I bought this for my mother who has a mild hearing impairment. She likes it, and finds it useful. We had to figure our the best pad size, since the small one was creating interference but a bigger one seems to be working fine. Let's see. In any case, for the price, it's worth trying, instead of spending thousands (even with insurance) and keeping it in the box (like she did).
